I’m Rebekah Nona, founder of ZIMCO Consulting, and a proud Torres Strait Islander woman born and raised in the Pilbara, WA.
For a long time in my career, I felt like I was walking in two worlds.
In one, I was grounded, cultural, relational.
In the other, I became a product. A title. An output. A deliverable.
And somewhere along the way, I realised something important, I was working…
but I wasn’t becoming.
Over twenty years across mining, leadership, capability and risk, I learned that calm is a leadership skill. Listening is influence.
Emotional intelligence is a superpower.
And identity is not a liability - it’s strength.
